Who is Jesus?

Our Heavenly Father, the Wonderful Creator of Heaven and Earth, is saying to you today, "I am radically interested in you." He said, "I'll prove it -- I'll send my only Son to earth..." and he DID! He sent Jesus.

Jesus was born through a virgin. He lived 33 years. People were loved and accepted by Him. All Jesus did was 'good' -- teaching, loving, doing miracles and wonders wherever He went.

Many people jeered and ridiculed this Jesus, even though He was the only way to life itself. They crucified Him on a cross for our sins. While hanging on the cross, Jesus said "Father, forgive them -- they don't know what they are doing." Now that is extravagant love! He rose on the third day -- by the power of the Holy Spirit -- showing that even death could not hold Him down. Now, Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father. He passionately wants you to know Him.

"Getting Jesus" is much easier than you might think. He wants you and loves you, no matter where you are or what you may have done. How to "get Him"? Talk to Him. You don't have to use fancy words. He is more concerned about how you feel in your heart than He is in the words you use. To help you out, here is a sample prayer of what you might say:

"Dear Jesus, I don't know you, but I want to. Please be a part of my life.
Forgive me for every wrong thing I have ever done and make me clean inside.
I want to start over and do things Your way from this day on."

Having trouble believing? That's okay. Just keep asking Him to reveal himself to you so you can know He's real. He will. He won't get mad at you. He will break the chains (fears) that "bind you". He will give you peace and JOY in your heart.
